The key main part of the laboratory in the intelligent assembly cell that is composed by an industrial Cartesian robot and Shelf-Storage supported by a manipulator. Several types of experiments are carried out in the laboratory:

  • Programming of industrial robots and a manipulators
  • Automation of assembly/disassembly
  • Application of mechatronic principles in the field of technological devices
  • Design and development of mechatronic systems upon the use of pneumatics and electropneumatics
  • Design and development of end effectors
  • Automatic Design and development of clamping fixtures
  • Material flow design and analysis in assembly/production systems
  • Analysis, comparison and optimization of material flow scenarios using simulation
  • Analysis and improvement of the cell’s layout
  • Manipulation and assembly supported by Machine vision
