Description:
Laboratory of overvoltage protections with pulse current generators are standardised according to the standard EN 61643-11. Laboratory is designed to testing of low-voltage surge protective devices. Generator of discharge current with the shape of 8/20 μs generates current with amplitude up to 70 kA. Generator of impulse discharge current with shape 10/350 μs generates current with amplitude up to 35 kA. Generators of standardised current pulses are loaned from the company SALTEK s. r. o. Czech Republic. Equipment is used in the pedagogical process when dealing with the final thesis projects in bachelor, master and PhD. studies. Cooperation with practice is oriented on company SALTEK.
