Tribological Laboratory of Institute of Transport Engineering and construction is designed to solution of the tribological characteristics of gears. It consists of precision balances with a carrying capacity of 2.5 kg and an accuracy of 0.0001 g, ultrasonic cleaners and four Niemann Stends closed-flow performance, the two are designed to measure pitting and two for measuring scuffing in gearing. At the laboratory  it possible to solve problems spur gear and planetary gear even with coatings or uncoated.
