The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava has agreed to cooperate with the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the top representatives of both partners comprises the development of cooperation activities in the academic, scientific, research and technological fields.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Oliver Moravčík, the STU Rector, and Huey-Jen Jenny Su, President of the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan. The Memorandum outlines cooperation between the two universities in the fields of electronics and photonics, optoelectronic technology, semiconductor technology, materials science and sustainable manufacturing.
"The University of Tainan pays special attention to and achieves the top results in the development of the most advanced technologies. The cooperation will allow us to keep up with the best," said Oliver Moravčík, the STU Rector.
Joint activities will comprise mobility of students, teachers, researchers and administrative staff, cooperation in science and research, as well as the materials, publications and information exchange.
The Memorandum of Understanding between STU in Bratislava and National Cheng Kung University in Tainan is valid for the period of five years.
