On the basis of the Enactment of the Board of representatives No 106 of the Col. of the Enact. of the Slovak National Council, the Section of Architecture and Construction Engineering at the Faculty of Construction Engineering of the SVŠT was established. With the Act on higher education institutions No 58/1950 from May 18, 1950 the Faculty of Architecture and Construction Engineering was established at the SVŠT with two study courses, course A – architecture and urbanism. With the Enactment of the Government of the SR No 93/1976 of the Coll. from August 18, 1976 the Faculty of Architecture of the SVŠT was established.
