Graduate of the study program Environmental Manufacturing Technologies: • has in-depth and cross-sectional knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering, including knowledge of the context and relations to the fields of production and environmental technology with an orientation towards mechanical engineering companies and mechanical engineering production, • has knowledge of kinematics, construction and design solutions of production machines and equipment, environmental machines and machines for treatment and recovery of various types of raw materials, • has in-depth knowledge and understands theories, methods and procedures that can be meaningfully used in research, development and design of production and environmental machinery, • has an overview of the basic types of production machines, tools and jigs, knows the principles of their operation, • knows the individual production technologies, understands the relationship between technological principles, technical parameters of machines and the properties of processed materials, • has knowledge and masters the theory, construction and technical and economic evaluation of machines and equipment, tools, jigs, hydraulic and pneumatic mechanisms and flexible manufacturing systems, • can solve tasks of mechanization and automation of production equipment with emphasis on construction, calculations, as well as technical and drawing documentation, • has knowledge of CNC systems programming and mathematical modeling techniques of process simulation as well as in the field of unconventional, low-waste technologies, additive and hybrid production, rapid prototyping, • has knowledge in the field of CIM, CAx systems, reverse engineering, virtual reality and can apply them in the process of production optimization, and engineering design, • masters the principles of measuring and sensing of basic technical and physical quantities, can apply basic statistical methods to manage measurement results and data, • can design experimental measurements, formulate test hypotheses, master the principles of the planned experiment and mathematical interpretation of the results of measurements and experiments, • knows the indicators of management quality, methods of planning and improving the quality of production processes and can use them to compare several solutions, • can transform the task of optimization of engineering production or the activity of production and environmental technology into a mathematical optimization problem, it can solve such problems and interpret the results of the solution, • masters the basic principles of economics, management of manufacturing companies, environmental management and circular economy.

Graduate of the study program Environmental Manufacturing Technologies: • can process data and create documents in computer office suites, • can solve in a creative way theoretical and practical problems in the field of construction of machines and equipment using theory, research and development procedures, • be able to actively acquire new knowledge and information and use them in formulating recommendations for the development of science and work, • creates instructions, implementation projects and evaluation procedures for activities in the field of production technology, • can process the results of its work in the form of technical reports and presentations and can communicate these effectively, • is able to read with understanding technical drawings and assignments from the customer, • has the ability to prepare technical documents to determine the most appropriate solution, • controls work with various CAD systems such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Inventor Desktop, etc., • can process and evaluate measured data in Excel, Statgraphics and others, • can perform technical calculations in various specialized software (Spindle, SimPro Spindle, etc.) focused on dimensioning and optimization of machine components, • controls the design and simulation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the FluidSim environment, • controls the software environment SolidCAM, Heidenhain TNC 640, ProCast for the needs of simulation of production technology and optimization of mechanical production, • controls various measuring instruments and laboratory machines for the purpose of determining basic technical and physical quantities, • can control available workshop machinery in the field of production and environmental technology (turning machine, milling machine, drill, grinder, press, etc.), • can use machines and devices in the field of additive manufacturing, reverse engineering and virtual reality (3D printers, laser scanners, headsets, control accessories), • masters the basics of programming and working with PLC systems as technological modules for control and management of machines and equipment, • has managerial, economic, social, moral and environmental awareness and is able to prepare documents, reports and documentation in accordance with the professional, ethical and legal framework applicable in the field of engineering, engineering production and engineering companies, • can combine the latest knowledge in the field of production technologies, materials engineering, automation, optimization and informatization to solve a technical problem in order to obtain a solution with significant added value, • can process economic analyzes, feasibility studies and environmental impact analyzes of given production technological processes.

Results on graduates from 2019 (https://uplatnenie.sk/?degree=V%C5%A0&vs=702000000&faculty=702020000&field=2329T22&year=2019 ) - number of graduates: 7, - gender of graduates: 100 % men, 0 % women, - industries in which graduates work: 50 % wholesale and retail, 25 % industrial production, 25 % professional, scientific and technical activities - positions in which graduates work: 25 % mechanical engineering specialists, 25 % chemical specialists, 25 % advertising and marketing specialists - unemployment rate: 14 %.

Graduate of the study program Environmental Manufacturing Technologies: • is ready for the study of the 3rd degree of university study and can, with the help of acquired knowledge and skills, directly continue the study in follow-up doctoral study programs in the field of Mechanical Engineering with a focus on production and environmental technology, production technologies, construction of machines and equipment. • will be employed as (according to the System of Occupations at sustavapovolani.sk): mechanical specialist designer, designer, mechanical specialist technologist, process specialist in mechanical engineering, manager in mechanical engineering, mechanical specialist in research and development, mechanical specialist in quality, environmental protection specialist in industrial production, specialist of recycling (recovery). Since the accreditation of this study program, no students graduate from it. Statement of KONŠTRUKTA Industry, a.s. Company Dear professor, the study plans and information sheets of the subjects of the bachelor/engineering degree Environmental production technology and the doctoral degree of the study program Production machinery and equipment that we have received are balanced in terms of scope and content and profile agile graduates who meet the requirements for a worker applying for employment in our company KONŠTRUKTA-Industry, a.s., not only for positions in research and development, but also for other technical and managerial positions. The combination of profiling subjects in conjunction with several weeks of mandatory professional practice ensures that graduates receive not only adequate theoretical training, but also practical experience for quick adaptation to new work challenges. We also consider the inclusion of a group of management subjects as an advantage of the study programs offered. We have long-term cooperation with the engineering faculty of STU in Bratislava on research and development of new types of machines and equipment. Thanks to this cooperation, we produced stands and equipment for waste recovery. These are mainly: - Serial production of briquetting presses BZ 50-250 (in cooperation with the faculty we produced 12 such briquetting presses), - Research and development of modular construction of compaction machines OPVaV-2009/4.2/04-SORO - Development of advanced biomass compaction technology and high productivity tools: ITMS: 226240220017 - Production of a prototype of a two-chamber briquetting press (the first prototype of a two-chamber screw briquetting press was produced in our company) - Quality diagnostics and automated repair of rubber belt as a semi-finished product for tire production (ZoD 15/2018) We have good cooperation with the faculty in recruiting graduates to our design and development workplaces. Our company is therefore also involved in events such as the "Engineering Olympiad", "Formula around Slovakia", "Job Forum" and "Student Science Conference". The result of this cooperation is a number of graduates who work in our company.
