Competencies

A graduate of the Integrated Safety study program has the ability to: • work independently as an authorized safety technician mastering the basics in the field of safety, environment and fire protection, • work independently as a fire protection technician and as an expert for serious industrial accidents, • independently analyze problems in the field of safety and the environment and propose professional and innovative solutions in the monitored areas, • keep professional documentation of the production company in the field of safety, environment and fire protection. At the end of the studies, the graduate of the engineering degree prepares a diploma thesis related to safety, fire protection and the environment in order to demonstrate the knowledge acquired during the studies in the work.

Profile courses

Employability of graduates

Graduates of the study program Integrated safety, 2nd level, will be employed in practice as experts in the field of safety and health protection at work, fire engineering and environmental engineering. The share of students who find employment after studying at the second level is at the level of 80%. A substantial part of students with excellent results (approx. 10%) find employment at the third level of study.

Examples of professions the graduate is prepared for

An engineering graduate will apply as an authorized safety or fire technician. It is also possible to apply in the engineering field of environmental science and safety, where he can process the necessary documentation and manage a team of people working in the field of safety and environment. He will also apply as a valid member of risk analysis and management teams. Furthermore, it will be applied to managerial positions in the field of risk analysis and management, environmental technologies and integrated safety management systems. risk analyst and in the field of dedicated technical equipment. Also, the graduate will apply in the field of fire and forensic engineering from the field of fire safety. It can be applied in the field of integrated safety research, explosions and occupational safety in managerial positions. He can continue his doctoral studies in follow-up study programs of a related focus.
