Knowledge

The Bachelor's study program Nuclear and Physical Engineering deepens knowledge in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, electronics and computer technology and programming, following which it provides knowledge in the field of energetics, nuclear energetics, nuclear physics and technology, as well as material engineering. The graduate has basic knowledge about the structure and physical properties of solid state materials and understands the physical nature of the phenomena on which the methods of measuring and diagnosing materials are based. The graduate has comprehensive knowledge about nuclear reactors and the overall operation of a nuclear power plant, as well as about ionizing radiation, its measurement, and the technologies and devices that use it.

Skillset

The graduate can use the software environment for modeling and simulation of physical processes as well as for management in nuclear and physical engineering.

Competencies

Graduate of the Bachelor study program Nuclear and Physical Engineering: is a harmonious and creative personality with civic and social responsibility, is an expert in the mentioned fields, with regard to his professional focus, he is able to critically evaluate the current state of the technical focus of the area, is able to find solutions to professional problems of industrial practice, knows modern information and communication technologies and knows how to use them appropriately in his work, has managerial, economic, legal, ecological and ethical awareness and can apply them in the performance of the profession.
