Profile courses

Employability of graduates

The graduate has very good prospects of finding a job in research and development centers (research institutes and institutions) as well as in corporate research and development divisions focused on research, development and innovation of building materials and products, on solving physical problems of buildings, on building-technological design and optimization of building technologies, or modelling of building (construction) processes. The graduate has very good prospects of holding managerial positions, especially in the management of technological processes of material production, or in realization of buildings, in the management of research activities, as well as in the management of quality, environmental protection and work safety.

Examples of professions the graduate is prepared for

The graduate of the study program is prepared to practise professions related to the research and development of new building materials and products or innovation of existing materials and products or development of building technologies, but also to the design of optimal construction procedures, modelling of construction processes and optimization of their spatial, temporal and technological structure. He/she can carry out research or laboratory activities directly or manage research activities. He/she can also be a quality system manager, even for highly sophisticated production systems and for the construction of complicated buildings, or an environmental or safety manager.
