Before Mobility
Listen to a podcast featuring students who have already completed an Erasmus+ exchange. You can also find useful information in the students’ final reports in AIS.
When searching for a suitable internship, you can use:
- directly contacting foreign companies, organizations, research centers, or universities,
- opportunities posted by the faculty,
- the stu.international social network,
- the Erasmus+ newsletter,
- online internship databases.
Recommended internship databases:
- My Internship
- ErasmusIntern
- Praxis Network
- Globalplacement
- Europe's Platform for Internships
- Remote Internship Online
- European Medicines Agency
An Information Brochure for Host Institutions is also available to host organizations.
Work placements can be carried out in EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Students also have the option of completing an internship outside the EU; however, they must notify the IRO internship coordinator as soon as possible, as there is a limited number of spots available, and in the case of higher education institutions, an Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) is also required.
Please send your application to paulina.lenartova@stuba.sk.
Once the selection process is complete, please send the Letter of Acceptance from the host institution to paulina.lenartova@stuba.sk.
IRO will create a checklist for you in UIS, which you will use to upload all required documents, including the Letter of Acceptance you received.
Once your documents have been approved and reviewed, an Erasmus+ grant agreement will be issued for you. You must physically bring or mail three original copies of this agreement to IRO. Upon submission of the agreement, you will receive 80% of the approved grant. The remaining 20% will be paid after you have successfully completed your mobility period and fulfilled all obligations.
Departure for mobility.
During mobility
During your mobility period, have the “Confirmation of Stay” document stamped and upload it to UIS.
A request to extend the internship must be submitted no later than 1 month before the internship ends.
After mobility
To successfully complete the internship and receive the remaining 20% of the grant, you must upload the following to UIS within 30 days of the end of the mobility period (for graduating students, no later than before the state exam):
- Confirmation of completion of the internship,
- Traineeship Certificate.
After completing your internship, you will receive an automatically generated questionnaire from the European Commission (Erasmus+ Participant Report) via email. Completing this questionnaire is a mandatory part of the internship.
Share your experiences on UIS. Your experiences will help future Erasmus+ participants choose a university and prepare for their mobility.
After uploading the documents, completing the final report, and filling out the questionnaire, the student will receive the remaining 20% of the grant.
