Employers are highly interested in graduates of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava; the STU graduates' CVs are viewed by four companies on average. This follows from ranking of the Profesia.sk portal, which focuses on employability of graduates on the labour market.

The ranking showed that the STU Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies still provides the most requested graduates; on average, almost seven companies view their CVs. Other top positions were also occupied by the faculties related to Informatics, i.e. the STU Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, the Faculty of Management and Informatics of the University of Žilina, the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University and the STU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The greatest interest is generally in the graduates of Informatics study programmes; their CVs are viewed by almost five employers on average. Graduates of Civil Engineering are also in demand; CVs of the candidates with this specialization are viewed by approximately three employers. On average, almost three companies read the CVs of Mechanical Engineering graduates. Last year, this specialisation was the fifth most demanded, while it moved to the third place this year.

Employers also show increased interest in the graduates CVs of the Economics and Technology study programmes.

The ranking regards the number of employers having viewed the CVs of university graduates, published on the portal in 2021. The data was provided by Martin Menšík, Marketing Manager of Profesia.

The second place after STU was taken by the University of Economics in Bratislava, the leader of the previous year ranking. CVs of its graduates this year received a score of 3.6. There is still employers’ demand for the graduates of the University of Žilina and the Technical University in Košice; CVs of their graduates are viewed by about three employers on average. On average 2.4 employers are interested in the graduates of Comenius University in Bratislava. Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín improved its position in ranking by three places. On the contrary, the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra fell by two places.
