On Thursday, February 12, EULiST alliance project team and delegates from the EULiST student board met at the University Center. The working meeting was an opportunity to evaluate progress to date and set the future direction of the project at the university.
In the first part of the meeting, the milestones achieved in individual areas and working groups were presented, and those that still lie ahead were identified. This was followed by a discussion in which individual researchers talked about their ideas and ambitions within the alliance project. Ms. Reháková (from the Quality Assessment working group) emphasized the importance of creating European degree programs, and Mr. Morgenstein (from the Sustainable Campus Initiative working group) emphasized the integration of sustainability principles into the subjects taught at the faculty beyond the fulfillment of statistical indicators.

The need to involve a wider range of staff and students in the activities was also emphasized. EULiST is intended for everyone, not just a small team of researchers. It brings specific benefits to the entire university: from expanding the range of courses offered by partner universities in a course catalog, to new opportunities for research collaboration, participation in international scientific events, better conditions for student and staff mobility, and many other possibilities.
The meeting provided researchers with a broader view of where the alliance as a whole stands, while also serving as a motivational tool. Through our joint efforts within EULiST, we are strengthening the international standing of STU and creating new opportunities for its further development.
