      The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers also Bachelor studies taught in English for both Slovak and international students. All programmes taught in English language have the same curricula and the subjects have the same syllabi as courses taught in the Slovak language.

    • Talks on cooperation with French institutions

      On 20 December 2016, doc. Š. Stanko, the STU vice-Rector, and representatives of the STU Department of International Relations received Ms. Cécile Nouvel of ENSIC-Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (Nancy, France), Mr. Francois-Xavier Mortreuil, Attaché for the university, scientific, and professional cooperation of the French Institute in Slovakia, and Ms. Martina Saganová of the Embassy of France in Slovakia.

    • Searching for the methods to eliminate micropollutants

      Researchers at STU are developing the methods of removing the residues of medicines, drugs, viruses, and antibiotic-resistant bacteria from water. They consider chemical forms of cleaning, use of nanodiamond layers, ferrates, photoactive powders, as well as the application of biological forms of aquatic plants. Some procedures will be protected by patents.

    • STU has won Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project

      The STU Department of International Relations in collaboration with the STU faculties and Rector's Office has won a two-year Erasmus+ KA107 project within the 2016 call “University student and staff mobility between the Programme Countries and Partner Countries (non-EU)”, so called International Credit Mobility.

      The European Higher Education Fair Kazakhstan 2015 was held on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Fair brought  together 80 exhibitors (higher-education institutions and national agencies and embassies) from across the European Union to promote their education systems and studying opportunities in EU.
