Documents of study

Application for:

-  Diploma and Supplement Diploma in English (only for current students of doctorate study programmes)
-  Certificate of the State Examination in English (only for current students of doctorate study programmes)
-  Confirmation/Verification of educational data or documents of a graduate
-  Recognition of a Diploma issued by a higher education institution outside of the Slovak Republic
-  Authorisation to use the academic title Ing. arch. in Slovak

On the basis of the Article 68 Section 5 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll., on Universities and on the bases of the changes valid from January 1, 2013, STU issues graduation documents (Diploma, Certificate of the State Examination and the Supplement Diploma) in Slovak language in combination with English language. These documents are issued to STU students after completion of their studies upon their written request.

Under above mentioned provision of the law issuance of documents in a foreign language retrospectively is not possible.

If interested to obtain documents in a foreign language, graduates are recommended to contact official state translator. The current list of the authorized states translators provided by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic can be found here.
